Kevin Sample joins Legacy with a distinguished career of over thirty years of private equity experience. During his career, Sample has completed over $1 billion in private equity transactions including merchant banking, mergers and acquisitions, Fortune 100 company carve-outs, private placement transactions, and initial public offerings. 

A graduate of Morehouse College, Sample worked at Erasmus Advisors serving as a Managing Director for three private equity funds focused on MBE-investing. Sample also worked as a Managing Director alongside Marcellus Taylor, managing the Minority Supplier PE Fund for Wal-Mart. Kevin’s previous experience includes executive positions with leading firms such as TIAA-CREF and Walton-Johnson, a Dallas investment bank, where he led the firm’s fixed income and equity sales/trading division.
